Who We Are

The Ansar Welfare Organization (Reg.) – (AWO) is a local non-profit organization, registered under the volunteer Social Welfare agencies (Registration and control) Ordinance 1961, working since 2019. It has been established on 16th August, 2019 by the General Meeting at village Pirabad, attended a large number of people, which is the first registered organization in the history of the village. This Local NGO was formed according to the willingness of the community people in a view to deal with the present socio-economic problems in different villages by means of good understanding and sharing the problems of each other and to find out the best way of solving the problems under the umbrella of Ansar Welfare Organization(AWO).

OPENING CEREMONY

The opening ceremony of the Ansar Welfare Organization was held on 16th Aug-2019. A large number of the villagers attended this event. The Chairman, Mr. Pir Ashraf Ali, explained the Organization aim & objectives in front of the people. A well-known personality Mr. Pir Azmat Ali Khan was honored as a Chief guest of this event. He expressed his views about the mission of the organization and described the importance of such kind of welfare organizations. On this occasion, he further distributed food packages and clothes among the poor communities. The Organization also awarded an honor shield to a talented student Mr. Pir Imad Khan, for gettng 1st position in SSC examination. At the end, an oath ceremony was conducted and all the members took oath from the honorable Chief guest.
